Cool and Sunny in Mid Michigan

I wasn’t sure if I could get on WQ this morning.  There appears to be more problems going on with this site and I hope that they are resolved soon.  As Harvey continues to victimize Texas, and now Louisiana, our weather in Michigan continues to be calm but very cool.  Our high today should be near normal but another cold front will affect us tomorrow.  I don’t ever remember having such a chilly August.  Harvey doesn’t appear to be a threat to us at this time, and the projected path shows it moving east and well to our south.  My heart goes out to the people in Houston who have lost everything but the shirts on their backs.  I just can’t imagine what they are going through.  I’m glad that we don’t have to deal with hurricanes here in Michigan.

Our 9 AM temp is 61°F, the humidity is 100 %, and winds are from the south at 3 mph.  Skies are clear and there was 0.01 in of precip in my gauge this morning.  I’m not sure if it was rain or condensation, but radar did show rain over us late yesterday afternoon, but I didn’t actually see it raining.  I guess we must have gotten a few drops.  The dew point is 57°F and the pressure is 30.05 in and steady.  Visibility is 8 miles.  Sunrise was at 6:58 AM and the sun will set at 8:13 PM.
