The Threat of Storms Today in Mid Michigan

This morning has been a mix of clouds and sun.  It looked like we were in for a good storm, but it managed to slide just to our south and east.  The threat of storms remain in our forecast and we could actually use a little rain.  These hot temps really dry things out.  The grass isn’t growing quite as fast and that’s good thing.

Our 11 AM temperature is 74.5°F (23°C), the humidity is 60%, and winds are from the ESE at 6 mph.  The pressure is 30.01 in (1016.0 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles and skies are mostly cloudy.  Yesterday’s high was 90°F (32°C) and the overnight low was 71°F (22°C).

Today:  Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm.  Highs in the mid 80s.  winds SSE at 5-10 mph.

Tonight:  Scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Low 65°F.  Winds SE at 5-10 mph.  Chance of rain 50%.

Thursday:  Mixed clouds and sun with scattered thunderstorms.  High around 85°F.  Winds SW at 10-15 mph.  Chance of rain 50%.
