Many Passing Storms But No Rain – Mid Michigan

There were numerous thunderstorms in Michigan yesterday, but they all managed to miss my area.  Pictured is one of the storms which passed to our west.  At the same time, another was passing to our east but we didn’t get a drop of rain.  We were like the meat in a sandwich.  Then later in the afternoon, the sun came out and skies cleared.  It was a beautiful evening.  As it grew dark, the fireworks began.  We could hear booming and banging late into the night.  I guess we can expect this for the next few nights.

Our 9:15 AM temperature is 69.3°F (21°C), the humidity is 64%, and winds are from the west at 9 mph.  Visibility is 10 miles and skies are clear.  The pressure is 30.01 in (1016.0 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 61°F (16°C).  Yesterday’s high was 81°F (27°C) and the overnight low was 57°F (14°C).
