A Beautiful Independence Day in Mid Michigan

We couldn’t have lovelier weather for our July 4th holiday.  Temps will be very comfortable and clear skies all day.  It will be a quiet one for us since my kids aren’t able to be here this year.  That’s the problem when it falls in mid week.  But with a little luck, we’ll see fireworks which local people will be shooting off, as well as all the noise well into the night.  I love the 4th of July.  It’s my favorite holiday next to Christmas.  We can still make a campfire and enjoy the evening.  At least the weather should be perfect.

Our 9:30 AM temp is 69.4°F (21°C), the humidity is 48%, and winds are from the east at 3 mph.  Visibility is 10 miles.  The dew point is 54°F (12°C) and the pressure is 30.19 in and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 79°F (26°C) and the overnight low was 55°F (13°C)The record high for July 3 is 102°F (39°C) set in 1921, and the record low is 41°F (5°C) set in 1963.
