A Very Wet Overnight in Mid Michigan

A Very Wet Overnight in Mid Michigan

For a change, my area got some much needed rain.  There was just under an inch in my gauge this morning and rain remains in the forecast for this afternoon.   Some areas had severe weather but we were lucky and just got the rain with a bit of noise.   Radar at this time is showing most of the storms to have moved off to our southwest and they are now centered over eastern Ohio and moving into Pennsylvania.  All of Michigan is clear for now.  It is very warm and humid this morning, and it feels like a sauna out there.

Our 8:30 AM temp is 66°F (19°C) , the humidity is 92% and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are calm.  We received 0.97″ of rain overnight with the storms beginning at around 1 AM.  The dew point is 65°F (18°C) and the pressure is 29.82 in (100.9.5 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 89°F (32°C) and the overnight low was 65°F (18°C).
