Another Hot One in Mid Michigan

Our skies have been mostly cloudy today although we have a little sun right now.  Temps are slightly cooler than yesterday and rain seemed to be a possibility this morning, but it all missed us.  Once again, it is just too hot to do anything outdoors and even just sitting out there is uncomfortable.  The dew point is quite high and that affects the feel of things more than the humidity.  At least I think so.

Our 4 PM temperature is 84.9°F (29°C) , the humidity is 68% and winds are from the southwest at 6 mph.  The UV is very high at 8.  The dew point is also 68°F (20°C).  The pressure is 29.97 in and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 89°F (32°C) and the overnight low was 70°F (21°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  The average temps for this date are 82°F / 59°F.  The record high for July 19 is 102°F (39°C) set in 1930, and the record low is 41°F (5°C) set in 1965.
