Cloudy and September-Like in Mid Michigan 8/18/17

After a rather stormy Thursday here in Michigan, today is chilly and windy.  There were a few tornadoes spotted in the thumb area with some damage reported, but our weather here remained quite tame.  We had a few good downpours, but other than that, nothing even close to severe.  We received about 1/4 inch by the time the rain ended.  This has been a strange summer, weather-wise, and it will be interesting to see what September will be like.  Our local meteorologist is telling us to be prepared for a normal winter.  Our past two have been quite mild.

Our 3:30 AM temperature is 73.4°F (23°C), the humidity is 51%, and winds are from the west at 7 mph.  The pressure is 29.79 in (1008.5 mb) and visibility is 10 miles.  The dew point is 61°F (16°C).  Skies are cloudy.  Yesterday’s high was 81°F (27°C) and the overnight low was 66°F (19°C).
