Rain For Our Sunday Morning – Mid Michigan

Rain For Our Sunday Morning – Mid Michigan

Our morning is starting out with clouds and very damp conditions.  We received very light rain late Saturday afternoon, but most came overnight.  There was only 0.03″ in my gauge but everything is wet this morning.  The cool temps will prevail through this week with no long term sign of any warmups.  It looks like Halloween will be chilly for the kids.  At least we haven’t seen any snow or sleet as yet, but I’m sure that it won’t be long.  We should see a little sun later this afternoon, and with highs only in the 40s, that will make it seem a bit warmer.  This should be a pretty nice day.

Our 9:45 AM temp is 38°F (3°C), the humidity is 86%, and winds are calm.  The dew point is 36°F (2°F) and the pressure is 29.84 in (1010.2 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Sunrise was at 8:07 AM and sunset will be at 6:31 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 44°F (7°C) and the overnight low was 34°F (1°C).  Averages for this date are 55°F / 36°F.  The record high for Oct. 28 is 78°F (26°C) set in 1946, and the record low is 21°F (-6°C) set in 1976.
