Wet But Milder For Our Monday in Mid Michigan

Sunday brought cloudy skies and snow changing to rain late in the day.  Since I had to work, I really didn’t care.  We won’t see much sun today either, but at least temps will be a little warmer.  It’s amazing how many trees are still holding onto their leaves.  Usually they are all bare by now.  Even my lilac bushes still look like it’s summer.  Very unusual for this time of year.  Everyone’s Burning Bushes are red but mine are barely turning color at this time.  I don’t know what’s going on there.  The snow that we received yesterday covered the ground a little, but melted when it turned to all rain.  I estimate that we got about 1/4 inch.  There is no precip in our forecast for today.

Our 8:45 AM temp is 34.9°F (2°C), the humidity is 93%, and skies are overcast.  The pressure is 30.42 in (1029.5 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 33°F (1°C) and winds are calm.   Visibility is 3 miles due to light fog.  Yesterday’s high was 39°F (4°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Averages for this date are 49°F / 32°F.  The record high for Nov. 13 is 73°F (23°C) set in 1911, and the record low is 15°F (-9°C) set in 1920.
