Another Wet November Day For Mid Michigan

Today will be a very wet and cold day.  As the radar shows, there is a large mass of precip over our state, and rain with some snow mixed in is expected to last most of the day and night.  Yesterday was fantastic with sun all day and temps reaching 50°F.  We got a lot done in the yard, things which we didn’t quite get to earlier in the season.  Today is the first day of rifle deer season here in Michigan, and the hunters aren’t too lucky with the weather.  Our neighbor, who hunts our property, got one this morning and I saw him head for home with his prize.  My husband doesn’t hunt anymore now that he has a heart condition and bad knees.  But that’s okay.  I think we’ve gotten our share through the years.

Our 11:15 AM EST temp is 41°F (5°C), the humidity is 60% and skies are overcast.  It was raining earlier but seem to have stopped for now.  Winds are from the SSE at 9 mph, giving a wind chill of 37°F (3°C).  The pressure is 29.89 in (1011.9 mb) and falling.  The dew point is 34°F (1°C).  Sunrise was at 7:29 AM and sunset will be at 5:12 PM. Yesterday’s high was 50°F (10°C) and the overnight low was 36°F (2°C).  Averages for this date are 48°F / 32°F.
