A Sunny, Pleasant Sunday For Mid Michigan

I’m afraid that our nice autumn weather will be coming to an end this week.  The extended forecast is showing highs not much above freezing by week’s end.  Meteorological winter began on Dec. 1 and it’s really going to feel like it after Wednesday.  There is also snow in the forecast although no estimates of any accumulation so far.  Today is be a winner, however, with mild temps and a high in the low 50s.

Our 10:15 AM EST temp is 39°F (4°C), the humidity is 80%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the north but calm.   The pressure is 30.18 in and falling.  The dew point is 33°F (1°F) and visibility is 7 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 51°F (10°C) and the overnight low was 34°F (1°C) .  Averages for this date are 38°F / 26°F.   The record high for Dec. 2 is 66°F (19°C) set in 1982, and the record low is -2°F (-18°C) set in 1976.  Sunrise was at 7:51 AM and sunset will be at 5:04 PM.
