Yes! We Have Snow! – Mid Michigan

We now have about 14 inches of snow cover with the additional 4 inches that we received overnight . . . . and it’s still coming down.  It seems like it will never end.  The plow came down our road late yesterday, but now we have more to remove.  The forecast is calling for an end around 4 pm and I’m hoping that it will be sooner.  This is the most snow that we have had in about 5 years.

Our 9:15 AM temp is 21°F (-6°C), the humidity is 93% and skies are cloudy with light snow.  The pressure is 29.89 in (1011.6 mb) and falling.  Winds are from the NNE at 6 mph. and the wind chill is 10°F (-12°F).  Visibility is 10 miles.  Sunrise was at 7:39 AM and sunset will be at 6:02 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 20°F (-7°C) and the overnight low was 16°F (-9°C).  Averages fro this date are 29°F / 15°F.

Today:   Snow, mainly before 5 PM.  High near 25°F.    Winds N at 7-9 mph.  Chance of snow 100%.  Accumulations around 4 inches.

Tonight:  Becoming partly cloudy with a low near 6°F.    Winds W at 8-10 mph giving a wind chill of -4°F.

Monday:  Mostly sunny with a high of 22°F.   Winds WNW at 6-8 mph with wind chill values as low as -6°F.

Monday Night:  Partly cloudy with a low of 5°F.   Winds light and variable.
