Our Snowstorm Fizzled Out – Mid Michigan

We only received 1.5 inches of snow yesterday which melted down to 20.0 inches.  It was very wet and it is sticking to everything this morning, and with the sun shining, it is very pretty.  I’m happy that we didn’t get the 2-4 inches that was predicted I’m thinking that most of it will be gone by tonight.  The eastern side of the state received much more although I’m not seeing any significant amounts on CoCoRahs this morning.  Much of it fell as rain.

Our 9:10 AM temperature is 31°F (0°C),  the humidity is 71%, and winds are from the NW at 10 mph.  The dew point is 24°F (-4°C) and the pressure is 30.30 in (1025.8 mb) and rising.  Skies are clear and visibility is 10 miles.  Sunrise was at 7:11 AM and sunset will be at 6:26 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 36°F (2°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C).    Averages for this date are 34°F / 20°F.
