The Wet Weather Continues in Mid Michigan

This has been a very wet month so far, and temperatures seem to have a very hard time warming up.  Although the upper 60s are considered to be normal for mid to late May, it seems to me that it is usually much warmer by this time of year.  At any rate, the next few days are expected to be nice.  Unfortunately, there is more rain in the forecast for the holiday weekend.   I haven’t been doing very well with my gardening this year.  I just can’t seem to get motivated.  It’s time to get the flowers planted and I haven’t even bought them yet.

Our 9 AM temp is 53°F (11°C), the humidity is 89% and winds are calm.  The sky is overcast and we received 0.29″ of rain late yesterday and overnight.  Visibility is 5 miles and the pressure is 30.00 in (1015.6 mb) and steady.  The dew point is 50°F (10°C).  Sunrise was at 6:06 AM and sunset will be at 8:59 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 65°F (18°C) and the overnight low was 51°F (10°C).  Averages for this date are 67°C / 47°C.
