A Promise Of Rain On The Way For Mid Michigan

A Promise Of Rain On The Way For Mid Michigan

Our local forecast is giving us the greatest chance of rain that we have had in about three weeks.  This is supposed to happen on Friday through Sunday.  They seem pretty certain that it’s going to happen and I just hope that we get enough to make a difference.  Our last significant rain was on June 28 with a little over 1/2 inch.  Since then, all we have had are quick showers or sprinkles.  Leaves on the corn are curling up and starting to turn brown along with our lawns.

Today’s 11:15 AM temp is 78°F (26°C),  the humidity is 42% and the dew point is 53°F (12°C).  Winds are from the south at 7 mph and skies are partly cloudy.  The pressure is 30.07 in and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Sunrise this morning was at 6:15 AM and sunset will be at 9:10 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 79°F (27°C) and the overnight low was 54°F (13°C).  Averages for this date are 82°F / 59°F.
