Very Chilly In Northern Michigan

Our trip up here yesterday was a combination of warm, wet, and windy.  In fact, winds reached near 60 mph at times and half of Cheboygan was without power last night.  Thankfully, we weren’t but there is at least one fallen tree here in the campground.  I could hear chain saws first thing this morning   Temperatures were warm until about 2 PM when the cold front finally moved through.  My son hasn’t reported any damage at home so that’s a good thing.  My in-laws, who have cabins right on Lake Huron, reported a lot of their yard decor blown all over.  Even though the wind wasn’t blowing right off the lake on them, there was still a mess to clean up.  This morning is calm and sunny but temperatures will only reach the mid 60s.  That’s better than hot and humid, at least I think so.

Our Topinabee 10:30 AM temperature is 51°F (11°C), the humidity is 74% and skies are clear.  Winds are from the south at 7 mph and the pressure is 30.35 in.  Yesterday’s high was 75°F and the overnight low was 34°F.  Sunrise was at 7:25 AM and sunset will be at 7:36 PM.
