Heavy Rain For Our Saturday Morning – Mid Michigan

Heavy Rain For Our Saturday Morning – Mid Michigan

Radar is showing a mass of rain heading our way from the southwest.  We have a little thunder but mostly just heavy rain.  I was lucky to get the dogs out before it began because it looks like it will last a while.  Yesterday was cloudy and misty without much let up through the day.  The only good thing is that temperatures will be very warm, but that doesn’t mean much if it’s raining.

Our 9:30 AM temp is 60°F (16°C), the humidity is 100% and visibility is 3 miles.  The pressure is 30.01 in (1016.3 mb) and steady.  Winds are from the SW at 5 mph.  Yesterday’s high was 58°F (15°C) and the overnight low was 58°F (15°C).  Sunrise was at 7:39 AM and sunset will be at 7:09 PM.  The record high for Oct. 5 is 80°F set in 1976, and the record low is 25°F set in 1965.
