Very Cold Temperatures And A Very Heavy Frost For Our Sunday Morning

Although most of our snow is gone, I thought that it had snowed overnight when I looked outdoors this morning but it was a very heavy frost.  Temperatures fell into the teens overnight and it was our coldest night so far this season.   Highs are only expected to reach the low 30s once again and the forecast said that it should be sunny.  Right now it is cloudy and I hope that it clears up soon.  We did see clear skies yesterday afternoon which seemed very good.

Our 9:15 AM temperature is 20°F (-7°C), the humidity is 91% and the dew point is 18°F (-8°C).  The pressure is 30.37 in (1028.5 mb) and falling.  Winds are calm and visibility is 7 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 31°F (-1°C) and the overnight low was 14°F (-10°C).  Averages for this date are 35°F / 24°F.  The record high for Dec. 9 is  59°F (15°C) set in 1952, and the record low is -1°F (-18°C) set in 1958.  Sunrise was at 7:55 AM and sunset will be at 5:01 PM.
