Cloudy And Cold With A Trace Of Snow – Mid Michigan

Yesterday was very spring-like with highs in the 50s.  As the day went on, however, temperatures continued to drop and we received a trace of snow overnight.  Highs today probably won’t even reach freezing.  Yesterday was very windy with gust up t0 25 mph.  Today should be more calm.

Our 9 AM temp is 26°F (-3°F), the humidity is 77%, and winds are from the northwest at 7 mph.  Skies are cloudy and the dew point is 21°F (-6°C).  The wind chill is 19°F (-7°C).  The pressure is 30.26 in (1024.7 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 55°F (13°C) and the overnight low was 26°F (-3°C).  The record high for Dec. 29 is 62°F (17°C) set in 1984, and the record low is -9°F (-23°C) set in 2000.

Tonight:  Mostly cloudy with snow flurries.  Temps steady at around 28°F (-2°C).  Winds SW at 5-9 mph.

Sunday:  Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30s.  Winds SW at 10-15 mph.

Sunday Night:  Mostly clear with lows in the upper 20s.  Winds SSW at 9-11 mph.
