A Snowy Saturday Morning in Mid Michigan

There was 1.5 inches of snow cover when I got us this morning and I think it has increased to 2 by now.  It continues to come down and radar is showing that it won’t be ending anytime soon.  There is nothing like a fresh snowfall to brighten up a dull, dreary, winter day.

Our 10:15 AM temperature is 19°F (-7°C), the humidity is 85%, and winds are from the NE at 9 mph, gusting to 18 mph.  The wind chill is 8°F (-13°C).  The pressure is 30.13 in (1020.3 mb) and steady.  The dew point is 15°F (-9°C).  Yesterday’s high was 31°F (-1°C) and the overnight low was 19°F (-7°C).  Averages for this date are 17°F / 15°F.  Sunrise was at 8:02 AM and sunset will be at 5:32 PM.
