Springlike Weather Ahead For Mid Michigan

Springlike Weather Ahead For Mid Michigan

Today will begin a significant warm-up with highs near 40° and overnight lows above freezing.  Unfortunately, it also means rain;  But we have filtered sunshine right now and moderate temps, so we can enjoy this while it lasts.  The extended forecast is calling for highs near 60°F on Thursday, but that will be short lived.  I have to go to the hospital for a heart cath that day, so I don’t expect to be able to enjoy much of it.  I’m hoping that the weather is now turning the corner for more spring-like temperatures.  Daylight Savings Time begins tonight.

Right now (9:30 AM) our temperature is 28°F (-2°C), the humidity is 77%, and winds are from the east at 9 mph.  The pressure is 30.16 mb (1021.3 mb) and falling.  The wind chill is 19°F (-7°C) and visibility is 7 miles.  The dew point is 22°F (-6°C).  Yesterday’s high was 34°F (1°C) and the overnight low was 15°F (-9°C).  Average temps for this date are 38°F / 23°F.  Sunrise was at 6:59 AM and sunset will be at 6:35 PM.
