Rain, Rain, and More Rain – Mid Michigan

Rain, Rain, and More Rain – Mid Michigan

Maybe we should be happy that we aren’t getting severe weather but this much rain causes flooding which can be as bad.  Many roads in the Detroit area are flooded as they got almost 2 inches overnight.  We received a little over half an inch here.  Radar is showing that we’re right on the edge of the showers and I’m hoping that it stays that way since I have some running around to do this morning.  On the positive side, the grass is nice and green all the leaves are really starting to open.  Spring is here!

Our 9:45 AM temperature is 48°F(9°C), the humidity is 95%, and winds are from the SE at 7 mph.  The pressure is 29.92 in and falling. The dew point is 49°F (9°C) and visibility is 5 miles with light rain.  Yesterday’s high was 49°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 45°F (7°C).  Averages for this date are 62°F / 42°F.  Sunrise was at 6:30 AM and sunset will be at 8:37 PM.
