A Cold, Windy Mother’s Day in Mid Michigan

It isn’t supposed to be like this on Mother’s Day.  It’s supposed to be warm, sunny, and very pleasant to be outdoors.  But no!  It isn’t that way at all.  This has really been a crummy spring for us.  All we seem to get is rain and cold temperatures.  If we do get a nice, sunny day, we pay for it over the following 4-5 days.  I’m glad that we’re heading up north tomorrow.  Believe it or not, the upcoming forecast is nicer for Indian River than it is for us.  Hopefully, it doesn’t change.

Our 3:30 PM temperature is 52°F (11°C), the humidity is 72%, and winds are from the NE at 13 mph, gusting to 18 mph.  The wind chill is 45°F (7°F).  The pressure is 29.84 in (1010.5 mb) and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles and the dew point is 41°F (5°).  Yesterday’s high was 52°F (11°C) and the overnight low was 42°F (6°C).  Averages for this date are 65°F / 45°F.
