Gloomy, Wet, Humid Day In Mid Michigan

My prayers go out for those in Ohio who spent a night of terror Monday,  as tornadoes and severe storms spread across the state.  Our Memorial Day was quite nice with sun in the early hours, becoming cloudy later and rain developing by evening.  At least we didn’t have to deal with anything severe.  Today is wet and cool with our highs, once again, below where they should be.  This has been the norm since spring began.  We are all wondering if it will ever warm up this year.  Temperature should be reaching the low 70s everyday by now and it just isn’t happening.

Our 10:30 AM temperature is 58°F (14°C), the humidity is 98%, and winds are from the north at 3 mph.  The pressure is 29.67 in (1004.7 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 58°F (14°C) and skies are overcast with light fog.  Visibility is 4 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 76°F (25°C) and the overnight low was 56°F (14°C).  Averages for this date are 73°F / 50°F.  Sunrise was at 6:03 AM and sunset will be at 9:04 PM.
