Sunny, Seasonable Weather Today in Mid Michigan

Sunny, Seasonable Weather Today in Mid Michigan

Today should be a winner with perfect weather for this time of year.  The sun is out, skies are clear and humidity is low with no rain in the forecast.  I have to get outdoors today. Maybe I’ll work on my flower beds which I haven’t touched yet.  I’m behind schedule. Our 9:45 AM temp is 61°F (16°C), the humidity is 57%, and skies are clear.  The dew point is 45°F (7°C) and winds are calm.  The pressure is 29.90…

Today Should Be The Start Of A Nice Weekend – Mid Michigan

Today Should Be The Start Of A Nice Weekend – Mid Michigan

Well, the rain is expected to be over for a few days, and this weekend should be very nice if the forecasts are correct.  Right now it is cloudy but temperatures are mild and we should see the low to mid 60s later on.  We received a little rain overnight, only 0.01″ in my gauge.  The sun peeked out for a few minutes a little while ago, but no sign of it since.  I put my hummingbird feeder out a…

Rain Should Be Ending Today – Mid Michigan

Rain Should Be Ending Today – Mid Michigan

Radar is showing that the rain has moved well to our southeast and it appears to be over.  These past several days have been very wet and the Detroit area has been declared a disaster area because of flooding, especially in the Dearborn area.  We didn’t received nearly that much here but enough to make the ground soggy.  This weekend is supposed to be very nice however, and we deserve it. Our 9 AM temperature is 42°F (6°C), the humidity…

A Minor Break From The Rain – Mid Michigan

A Minor Break From The Rain – Mid Michigan

The rain ended early yesterday and we even say a few glimpses of the sun.  This morning we have cloudy skies with a little fog.  Highs should reach the low 60s and showeres are a possibility this afternoon.  Some of the Detroit area is under water but we lucked out and didn’t get that much.  Now we need a warm, dry spell so that I can get my flower beds cleaned out. Our 10 AM temperature is 47°F (8°C), the…

Rain, Rain, and More Rain – Mid Michigan

Rain, Rain, and More Rain – Mid Michigan

Maybe we should be happy that we aren’t getting severe weather but this much rain causes flooding which can be as bad.  Many roads in the Detroit area are flooded as they got almost 2 inches overnight.  We received a little over half an inch here.  Radar is showing that we’re right on the edge of the showers and I’m hoping that it stays that way since I have some running around to do this morning.  On the positive side,…
