A Very Stormy Saturday For Mid Michigan

We received storm after storm on Saturday with severe thunderstorm warnings frequently issued.  They mainly passed over without consequence in my  area but dropped 1.27″ of rain in all.  Watching the radar, many were  forming just to our west and increasing in strength as they moved east.  Today should see a bit of drying out with sun in the forecast.  The poor farmers just can’t seem to get a break.  It has been much too wet for planting and it’s getting very late into the season already.

Our 8:45 AM Termperature is 54°F (12°C), the humidity is 83%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the north at 6 mph and the dew point is 51°F (11°C).  The pressure is 29.84 in (1010.5 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 72°F (22°C) and the overnight low was 54°F (12°C).  Averages for this date are 74°F / 52°F.  Sunrise was at 6:00 AM and sunset will be at 9:10 PM.
