NOAA has issued a special weather statement that we may expect heavy thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. There were a few in the state yesterday but we received one heavy shower early in the afternoon. It dropped 0.37″, just enough to get everything wet. Yesterday was quite uncomfortable even though the temps were a little cooler. Today will see higher temperatures and possible storms.
