A Very Wet Drive Home Sunday From Northern Michigan

We decided to pack up and return home one day early because of the weather.  Rain was forecasted for most of Sunday and Monday morning, so we got on the road just as it started.  It rained all the way home.  Saturday began a bit wet but by afternoon, it was clear and sunny.  The wind was a bit brisk however, and it made for a chilly day.  We took a drive  up to Mackinaw City and couldn’t believe how may people were there.  This is supposed to be the off season.  Some people in the campground decided to have an end of the season bonfire, and everyone in the campground was invited.  It made for a very lively Saturday night.  Since this was the last weekend that the campground would be open, everyone, who still had an RV on a lot, showed up.  It made for a pretty festive weekend.
