Monday was a beautiful day with sun all day long and just enough breeze to help dry the ground out a bit.  Highs made it into the upper 60s, so it was quite pleasant.  We can expect this weather to last most of this week, and then who knows what will happen?  I’m hearing that “s” word but I think it is for more north of us.  I have seen snow cover in October before although it doesn’t happen very often, and then it melts right away.  Long range predictions are for a very snowy winter for us, so that doesn’t sound too good unless you’re a winter sports lover.  At least, now that I’m retired, I don’t have to worry about driving to work in it anymore.
