Cold And Dreary In Mid Michigan

Cold And Dreary In Mid Michigan

Yesterday turned into a fairly nice day with clearing skies which resulted in a beautiful sunset.  Highs reached the low 50s and the winds were light to moderate.  This morning is our coldest yet this season with lows falling into the upper 20s in some places.  It was 30°F on my thermometer at 8 AM.  I guess it’s time to realize that this will be the norm from now on.  At least, with us returning to standard time, the mornings won’t be so dark.

Our 10:15 AM temperature is 39°F (4°C), the humidity is 83% and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the east at 3 mph and the dew point is 38°F (3°C).  There was a hard frost this morning.  The pressure is 30.17 in (1021.7 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.   Yesterday’s high was 50°F (10°C) and the overnight low was 30°F (-1°C).  Normals for this date are 54°F / 39°F.  Sunrise was at 8:02 AM and sunset will be at 6:37 PM.
