Sunny But Very Cold In Mid Michigan

We received a little snow overnight.  It was just enough to cover the ground, maybe half an inch.  Temperatures dipped into the teens overnight and it was only 13°F when I got up this morning.  Since then, it hasn’t warmed up much and the high today will only reach the low 20s if we are lucky.  We have had quite a bit of sun so that gives the illusion that it is warmer than what it is.  Fortunately, warmer temperatures will come back by the weekend.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 20°F (-7°C), the humidity is 60%, and winds are from the NW at 18 mph, gusting to 22 mph.  Our wind chill is 5°F (-15°C).  The pressure is 30.14 in (1020.7 mb) and rising.  Visibility to 10 miles.  Skies are partly cloudy.  Yesterday’s high was 34°F (1°C), and the overnight low was 13°F (-11°C).  Averages for this date are 33°F / 23°F.  Sunrise was at 8:02 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
