Hoar Frost, Fog For Our Christmas Eve Day – Mid Michigan

Our Christmas Eve Day is starting out with fog and much cooler temperatures.  Highs yesterday rose into the 50s once again, but it won’t be that warm today.  Regardless, highs will still be above average and will remain so into the weekend.  This weather has been amazing considering that it’s the end of December.  I think Mother Nature is giving us a break after what she did to us in early November.

Our 10:15 AM temperature is 30°F (-1°C), the humidity is 89%, and skies are overcast with fog.  Winds are from the ESE at 3 mph and the dew point is 30°F (-1°C).  The pressure is 30.18 in and falling, and visibility is 6 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 51°F (11°C) and the overnight low was 24°F (-5°C).  Averages for this date are 32°F / 22°F.  Sunrise was at 8:05 AM and sunset will be at 5:06 PM.
