A Mixed Bag Of Weather – Mid Michigan

A Mixed Bag Of Weather – Mid Michigan

Yesterday started out with lake effect snow showers and those ended shortly after noon.  There was hardly any accumulation.  Today will be much warmer again but brisk winds will keep the comfort level down significantly.  I’m thinking that this will be the end of our above normal temps for a while.  There is a winter weather event knocking on our door for the weekend although it isn’t clear exactly how it will affect us.  At this time, it is looking like our area will get rain or freezing rain, but it’s still two days off, so who knows?

Our 9:15 AM temperature is 24°F (-4°C), the humidity is 78%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the N at 8 mph and the pressure is 30.40 in (1029.5 mb) and falling.  The dew point is 17°F (-8°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 30°F (-1°C) and the overnight low was 10°F (-12°C).  Averages for this date are 30°F / 19°F.  Sunrise was at 8:07 AM and sunset will be at 5:20 PM.
