Winter Has Returned With A Vengeance – Mid Michigan

We received about 4 inches of snow over the last 36 hours and they are telling us that we could get another 1-3 on Sunday.  We knew that we weren’t going to get away without some winter weather after a very mild December and January.  The extended forecast is showing no warmups for the next 10 days, so it looks like what snow we get will be with us for awhile.

Our 11 Am temperature is 29°F (-2C), the humidity is 72% and winds are from the NW at 11 mph, giving us a wind chill of 18°F (-8°C).  The dew point is 21°F (-6°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 29.47 in (998.0 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 27°F (-3°C) and the overnight low was 22°F (-6°C).  Sunrise was at 7:44 AM and sunset will be at 5:57 PM.
