A Very White Monday Morning In Mid Michigan

We have about 2 inches of very wet snow to start our week.  It’s actually quite pretty and just wet enough that it is sticking to everything.  We can enjoy snow this time of year because we know that it will melt right away.  Highs today are expected to reach the mid 40s so I don’t see it to lasting very long.  The sun is trying to make an appearance and we do have quite a heavy cloud cover.  As the Corona virus spreads through the country, we just keep hoping from day to day that we won’t catch it.  We aren’t going anywhere that we don’t need to and are taking precautions that are necessary.

Our 9:45 AM temperature is 35°F (2°C), the humidity is 84%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the ENE at 1 mph and the dew point is 29°F (-2°C).  Visibility is 4 miles.  The pressure is 29.91 in (1012.9 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 41°F (5°C) and the overnight low was 30°F (-1°C).  Average temps for this date are 46°F / 29°F.  Sunrise was at 7:32 AM and sunset will be at 7:53 PM.
