A Bright, Beautiful Morning In Mid Michigan

A Bright, Beautiful Morning In Mid Michigan

Yesterday was lovely and today should be just as nice.  We took a drive out to Sleepy Hollow state park in Laingsburg, and couldn’t believe how many people were out there.  The parking lots had more cars that we usually see in mid summer, and even the beach area was very active.  The governor’s stay at home order isn’t working out too well.  They keep giving us numbers of new cases of the virus, and the number of deaths, but they never mention the total number of those who had it and recovered.  It seems that people are getting wise to it.  Regardless, yesterday was a great day to get outdoors and many chose to do just that.

Our 9:30 AM Temperature is 53°F (12°C), the humidity is 41%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the south at 1-4 mph and visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 30.14 in (1020.7 mb) and steady.  Skies are clear and the dew point is 32°F (0°C).  Yesterday’s high was 63°F (17°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C).  Average temps for this date are 61°F (16°C) / 41°F (5°C).  Sunrise was at 6:34 AM and sunset will be at 8:33 PM.
