Finally The Rain Has Ended – Northern Michigan

After 2 days of rain, yesterday finally broke out in a little sun by late afternoon.  Today is expected to be very nice but we have to head for home.  Highs here are expected to be in the low 70s.  That’s warmer than what is expected at home.  I’m seeing pictures of disastrous flooding in mid portions of the state with the failure of several dams.  Some areas received as much as 8 inches of rain.  We got about 3 inches at home, and I’m happy that it wasn’t any more than that.  As though dealing with this virus isn’t bad enough, now some people have lost everything.  Terrible!

Our 8:45 AM temp is 57°F, the humidity is 57%, and winds are from the E at 3-5 mph.  Skies are clear.  The dew point is 42°F and the pressure is 30.28 in and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 56°F and the overnight low was 39°F.  Averages for this date are 57°F / 39°F.
