A Brief Cooling Period For Mid Michigan

Yesterday was quite comfortable, and today will be also .  But there is more hot weather knocking on the door and that is expected by the weekend.  We’ll be heading up to our campground on Thursday, just in time for it.  I’m hoping that it won’t be quite as hot up there but that hasn’t been the case lately.  What will be will be.

Our 9:45 AM temp is 67°F (19°C), the humidity is 72%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the ESE at 0-5 mph, and the dew point is 60°F (16°C).  The pressure is 30.08 in (1018.6 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 82°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 64°F (18°C).  Sunrise was at 6:17 AM and sunset will be at 9:08 PM.

Today:  Partly sunny.  High 80°F.  Winds E at 3-5 mph.

Tonight:    Possible shower or thunderstorms after 2 AM.  Low 66°F.  Winds SE at 3-5 mph.  Chance of rain 60%. Rainfall amounts of less that 10th of an inch.

Wednesday:  Showers and thunderstorms likely. Gradual clearing in the afternoon.  High 84°F.  Winds SSW at 6-11 mph, gusting to 18 mph.  Rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch.

Wednesday Night:  Partly cloudy.  Low 63°F.  Winds WNW at 5-7 mph. becoming calm after midnight.
