Much Cooler Temperature For Mid Michigan

Tuesday was mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers.  We only got 0.08″ and the showers were wide spread and brief.  The biggest factor yesterday was the temperatures.  We didn’t even make it to 70° which is unusual for August in Michigan.  It should be quite a bit warmer today and highs will be back in the mid 80s by the weekend.  We were graced with this beautiful rainbow late in the day after the last shower.  That’s always a joy to see.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 62°F (17°C), the humidity is 82%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the NE at 1-4 mph and the dew point is 59°F (15°C).  The pressure is 30.07 in (1018.3 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 69°F (21°C) and the overnight low was 51°F (11°C).  Sunrise was at 6:32 AM and sunset will be at 8:51 PM.
