Another Period of Hot, Dry Weather – Mid Michigan

After two wonderful, comfortable days, we are back into the hot, muggy weather of August.  We haven’t had a good rain for a week now and things are really getting dry.  The lawn has ceased growing which isn’t a bad thing, and it is still quite green.  There is no rain in our forecast anytime soon and no cooler temperatures either.  This is great beach weather.  Unfortunately, I’m not a beach bunny.

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 84°F (29°C), the humidity is 51% and the dew point is 64°F (18°C).  Our UV index is high at 6.  Winds are from the SW at 2-8 mph, and skies are mostly clear.  The pressure is 29.88 in (1011.9 mb) and steady. Visibility is 13 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 85°F (29°C) and the overnight low was 55°F (13°C).  Average temps for this date are 81°F / 57°F.  Sunrise was at 6:50 AM and sunset was at 8:26 PM.
