Continued Cloudy And Cold – Mid Michigan

We are looking forward to a warm-up in a few days.  All next week is predicted to be warm, dry and sunny, but we know how quickly that can change.  Yesterday was damp although we didn’t get much rain.  There was only 0.06 in in my gauge this morning.  There is more rain in our forecast for today but none so far.  The sun is trying to peek through at the moment but temperatures are still much below where they should be.

Currently (10:45 AM), our temperature is 49F (9C), the humidity is 94%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the SW at 2-6 mph and the dew point is 46F (8C).  The pressure is 30.02 in (1016.6 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 54F (12C) and the overnight low was 44F (7C).  Average temps for this date are 65F/ 46F.   Sunrise was at 7:37 AM and sunset will be at 7:10 PM.

Today:  Showers likely, mainly before 11 AM.  Then mostly cloudy.  High 52F.  Winds SW at 6-9 mph turning to the NW in the afternoon.  Chance of rain 60%.

Tonight:  Mostly cloudy with a chance of frost.  Low 35F.  Winds NNW at 7-10 mph.

Monday:  Areas of frost before 8 AM.  Mostly sunny.  High 58F.  Winds NNW at 6-8 mph turning to the SW in the afternoon.
