A Dreary But Warm Thanksgiving Day

A Dreary But Warm Thanksgiving Day

Our Thanksgiving Day was quite pleasant.  There was drizzle early but the remainder of the day wasn’t too  bad.  my husband smoked our turkey and it turned out great.  The weather cooperated, and although we didn’t see any sun, being outdoors wasn’t bad at all.  Today will be about the same with highs in the mid 40s, and there is a slight chance of rain this morning.  The kids are all home and there are plenty of left-overs for today.  Good thing that they are here to help eat it all.  This is the first time since last February that we have all been together because of Covid 19.  I pray that we all still healthy through the holidays.

Our 8:30 AM temp is 40F (4C), the humidity is 91%, and we have some haze.  Winds are from the south at 3-7 mph and visibility is 7 miles.  The dew point is 38F (3C) and skies are overcast.  The pressure is 29.83 in (1010.2 mb) and steady.   Yesterday’s high was 45F  (7C) and the overnight low was 40F (4C).  Average temps for this date are 39F / 29F.  Sunrise was at 7:44 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
