A Bit Of A Warmup For Mid Michigan

A Bit Of A Warmup For Mid Michigan

Although temperatures reached the low 40s yesterday, we didn’t lose much snow cover.  I’m seeing more bare spots but the snow is still measuring about 2 inches where it remains.  Yesterday was a mix of sunny and cloudy periods and it was quite nice although on the breezy side.  Today will bring much of the same but we will see a mix of rain and snow moving in tonight.  This has been a very dry winter for us so far.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 33F (1C), the humidity is 99%, and skies are mostly clear with a light cloud cover giving us filtered sun.  Winds are from the SE at 0-3 mph, and the pressure is 29.59 in (1002.0 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 2 miles and the dew point is 31F (-1C).  Yesterday’s high was 42F (5C) and the overnight low was  30F (-1C).  Average temps for this date are 28F / 17F.
