Temperatures will start going down this upcoming week, but will continue to be slightly above normal. Yesterday brought us about an inch of very wet snow which accumulated to about an inch. Although temperatures reached the low 40s yesterday, we didn’t lose much snow cover. I’m seeing more bare spots but the snow is still measuring about 2 inches where it remains. Our trees are still snow covered with very little thawing going on. Gotta admit, it’s very pretty. This is why I like snow in the winter. Without it, the days are so dark and gloomy.
