After spending the past three days in very chilly Indian River, we came home yesterday, traveling in a mix of snow and rain most of the way home. Just north of Gaylord, it was snowing so hard that visibility was reduced to about a mile. By the time we reached Gaylord , it had changed to all rain again. After an almost “hot” day yesterday, today is just the opposite. Temps did reach into the low 80s and it actually felt hot for the first time. Fortunately there was a nice breeze all day so it was comfortable. Rain began sometime overnight but there was only 0.02″ in my gauge this morning. Our morning began with clear skies, but now they have become mostly cloudy. Temperatures will be mild today although I don’t think it will quite make it up to 70 degrees. Once again, the winds are pretty strong so that makes it feel even colder. There is the possibility for hit-or-miss rain, and the radar is showing some activity to our north and west.
