Below Normal Temperatures Continue In Mid Michigan

After all the warm weather that we had in April, this cold weather is really annoying.  It certainly doesn’t feel like May.  This morning began with clear skies and sun, but once again the clouds have taken over and I’m seeing some spotty showers appearing on the radar, mainly in the west side of the state.  Normal temps should be back later this week and into the weekend.  I hope it stays this time.

Our 11:45 AM temp is 47°F (8°C), the humidity is 58%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the WNW at 3-11 mph and the dew point is 33°F (1°C).  The pressure is 30.10 in (1019.3 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 54°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C).  Average temps for this date are 64°F / 44°F.  Sunrise was at 6:18 AM and sunset was at 8:47 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  Mostly to partly cloudy.  High 54°F.  Winds WNW at 10-15  mph.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy with widespread frost possible.  Low 31°F.  Winds NW at 5-10 mph.

Tuesday:  Mostly sunny.  High 53°F.  Winds NW at 10-20 mph.
