Another Cloudy, Cold May Day In Mid Michigan

This morning, like yesterday, began with clear skies but now clouds have overtaken most of it.  We are still getting a few glimpses of the sun, but not enough to make up for the cold wind.  Tomorrow should start seeing some improvement, and temps should be back up in the 70s by the weekend.  This is the time of year where we should be able to sit outdoors and enjoy all the nature has to give, but most of that weather happened in April.  May, so far, has been a bust.  It’s time for Mother Nature to shape up and behave.

Our 2 PM temperature is 52°F (11°C), the humidity is 42%, and winds are from the NW at 6-15 mph, gusting to 21 mph.  The dew point is 30°F (-1°C) and skies are mostly cloudy.  The pressure is 30.23 in (1023.7 mb) and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 53°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C).  Sunrise was at 6:17 AM and sunset will be at 8:48 PM.  Average temps for this date are 65°F / 45°F.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:
