Too Much Rain Is Ruining My Flowers – Mid Michigan

My flowers in my beds are looking good, but those in my pots are looking pretty bad.  There is even mold forming on the dirt.  Some of the leaves are starting to dry up and they aren’t blossoming as they should.  This is supposed to be our dry season and it’s been raining almost everyday.  There was only a 20% chance of rain today, but it still rained this morning.  I’m really sick of rain.  I would rather have the drought that we never had.  Oh well, complaining won’t change it.  Then there’s the mosquitoes!  They’re horrid!  We can’t even go out and sit without almost getting carried away.  This has to end sometime.

Our 3 PM temperature is 69F (21C), the humidity is 94%, and the dew point is 69F (20C).  Winds are from the E at 2-7 mph and skies are cloudy.    Visibility is only 5 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 73F (22C), and the overnight low was 60F (16C).  The pressure is 30.04 in (1017.3 mb) and steady.  Average temps for this date are 82F / 59F.
