Temperatures On The Increase In Mid Michigan

We are seeing our temperatures rising a little more everyday with excessive heat expected next week.  The heat index is expected to rise above 100 degrees one day.  We’ll be up north and hopefully it won’t be that hot up there.  Today is expected to be sunny with just a few passing clouds.  Some areas could see some pop-up showers and thunderstorms however.  There were a few yesterday which produced rainfall up to an inch.  As for us, we haven’t had a good rain now in a week and it’s getting pretty dry.

Our 1:00 PM temperature is 80°F (27°C), the humidity is 48% and skies are partly cloudy.   Winds are from the SSE at 2-10 mph. The dew point is 59°F (15°C) and the pressure is 30.03 in (1016.9 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 80°F (27°C) and the overnight low was  56°F (13°C).  Average temps for this date are 81°F / 59°F.  Sunrise was at 6:32 AM and sunset will be at 8:54 PM.
