Possibly, A Stormy Tuesday In Mid Michigan

We had thunderstorms pass overnight, but most missed my area.  There was only 0.06″ in my gauge this morning although my weather station is showing multiple lightning strikes with the closest 17 miles away.  The weather service is saying that our area could have severe weather today and tonight, so I’m hoping that it misses us also.  We were planning a trip to our campground today but decided to wait until tomorrow, because of the severe weather threat.

Right now (10:30 AM), our temperature is 76F (24C), the humidity is 82%, and the dew point is 71F (22C).  Winds are from the SW at 5-12 mph, gusting up to 17 mph.  The pressure is 29.81 in (1009.5 mb) and rising.  Skies are overcast and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 85F (29C) and the overnight low was 71F (22C).  Averages for this date are 82F / 59F.  Sunrise was at 6:36 AM and sunset will be at 8:46 PM.
